Monica & the Moochers

Monica & the Moochers wowed audiences in the early 90’s by featuring some of the best young jazz musicians in the country, coupled with stinging arrangements and the sultry, sassy, Monica out front.
They released 2 critically acclaimed cds at that time “Too Darn Hot” and “Cotton on the Breeze”. Both albums were excellent demonstrations of Monica’s fantastic vocal range and her band’s skilful mastery of the jazz beat.
Monica and the Moochers are still doing what they do best. An 8 piece band, they guarantee to bring any event to life with their infectious blend of forties and fifties swing with a little bit of Latin thrown in. Great for larger gatherings of 100 plus people, just make sure you’ve got a dance floor ready.
