danny ammar
Danny Ammar is the band leader of Groove Frontier. An accomplished singer and keyboardist, Danny has played in numerous bands all around Australia.
Danny has worked with the cream of Australian music professionals such as Kerrie Biddell (Rick Price, Doug Parkinson, John Farnham), Peter Northcote (Guy Sebastian, Shannon Noll, Anthony Callea, Marcia Hines to name a few) and international drumming legend Chad Wackerman (Frank Zappa, Barbara Streisand, James Taylor).
Danny's musical talents have allowed him to travel internationally playing in 5 star hotels in Japan and Dubai.
Danny's fresh and innovative approach to his music shines through in his performances.
rachael woodlands
Rachael Woodlands has been singing for the past 20 years. Her effortless delivery, smooth vocals and infectious energy has lead to her successful career in music. She has played in a wide range of bands in various settings. Her experience ranges from singing styles across the spectrum from Pop, rock, retro right through to the smooth sounds of jazz.
Rachael has sung in cabaret shows on the Fair Princess. She has opened numerous festivals including the Mackay Festival of 2000, and was a support act to the world renown Supremes.
Words can only give you an idea of how special Rachael's vocals are. The true testament is when you hear what she has to offer.
scott ingram
Scott Ingram has been playing drums longer than he can remember. His drumming prowess has taken him all around the globe. Scott has played and studied extensively in America with the likes of drum legends Ralph Humphrey (Frank Zappa) and Joe Porcaro (father of Jeff Porcaro - "Toto" time keeper and LA Session great). Scott has also worked in Melbourne with Kevin Murphy who is now touring in the US with the Little River Band.
Along with his session work he has performed in cover bands the "80's" and "Real Life" playing hits like "Send me an Angel" and "Catch Me I'm Falling". Scott is also touring nationally with Top Melbourne tribute band "The Ego Has Landed - The Australian Robbie Williams Show".
Scott's great sense of rhythm and feel adds another dimension to songs we have all heard before.
gary thackrah
Gary Thackrah has been playing guitar in various forms for over 15 years. He is also an accomplished keyboardist and vocalist. He has worked professionally in duos, trios and rock/pop bands performing both covers and original material.
Gary works for one of Australia's top TV stations, Ch 10. He has sat in on the resident band for the morning show "Good Morning Australia" with Bert Newton. Gary has performed with Top Australian Recording Artists Taxiride, Shannon Noll and Diesel.
Gary has had extensive experience overseas and held a residency in Bali playing in a duo. Gary's distinctive style allows him to adapt to many varied musical genres.
